Mervyn Galant first burst onto the South African golf scene when, as a 21 year old caddy he almost won the South African tour school event, finishing second to Justin Hobday. Mervyn went on to win numerous tournaments on the South African Tour and was a regular contender during his 15 years as a playing professional. Logical Golf is proud to have Mervyn as one of its senior instructors, his considerable golfing knowledge and experience are a great asset to the Logical Golf team . Over the past 5 years Mervyn has , through his involvement with the South African Golf Development Board , been instrumental in training and introducing the game of golf to underprivileged and previously disadvantaged participants around South Africa. Mervyn was later appointed National Training Coach for SAGDB. Mervyn is currently based in Cape Town, South Africa at the Logical Golf Academy where he has established a large following. Mervyn has assisted Robert and Grant in producing weekly television tips on Logical Golf for a national television station and has attended international events like the Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews . He has found the Logical Golf teaching method simple and easy to communicate and is enjoying great success with his instruction.
